Annoyingly the initial homebrew submission was rejected.
I've cleaned up the upstream macOS stuff and updated Rob's homebrew packaging to match, and I've had success reports from people installing 1.2.35 using this (if you have homebrew installed):
brew update brew install https://survex.com/~olly/survex.rb
Waiting to hear back from Rob to see if we can get this into homebrew proper now it's been cleaned up, or else how best to set this up more permanently as a separate "tap" or whatever the lingo is.

It would be good to get this into homebrew, or make a separate "tap" or whatever if that's not possible, but the actual report here is now addressed as there's now an up-to-date version.
The mac builds rely on me being able to borrow a machine to build it on, and the one I used to use got stolen, and then its replacement got stolen, and it's been much harder to arrange to borrow it since.
There should soon be a package available via homebrew though, thanks to Robert Jones:
