Known Issues with 1.4.2

On macos, starting aven without a file fails. If you're using the homebrew package this is fixed in 1.4.2_6. The workaround is to always start aven by loading a file from the filer.

1.4.2 requires PROJ >= 6.2.0. If you need to build with an older version of PROJ, Survex 1.2.x works with PROJ < 8.
