Description
It would be very helpful to support map editing with Inkscape. Walls and compass both support export to Inkscape and/or Illustrator (evil closed source). A key feature is the ability to update the svg file based on an updated 3d file. Walls uses layers in the svg file to decide how points are moved around based on updated survey data.
The compass website has some information how this works and how the layers are structured (which is based on what walls did).
