Description
I've been able to convert the 3d file for hand plotting to get coordinates for particular stations, very useful for finding the cave end on the surface. This feature seems to have stopped working and keeps asking me to look for another program to process the data. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong or is the feature no longer available in Aven?

Looks like you reported this before 9 months ago: #126
The old explorer bindings are meant to get removed automatically but it seems that hasn't worked for you at least.

Are you using Microsoft Windows and accessing this via right click in the file manager?
If so, this was a change in 1.2.35:
To convert to
.pos
now, load the.3d
file into aven, then it's menu entry "File->Export as...", select "Survex pos" for "Export format".You probably want "Station Names" on (otherwise you just get the coordinates). By default all stations are exported (like the old way), but you can select Entrances and/or Fixed Points and/or Exported Stations to limit what's exported.
Click the "Export" button once you've selected and choose a filename (the default is the same leafname with a
.pos
extension but you can change that unlike the old way).
