#25 | fixed | Installation problems using Win7
Description |
My operating system is Win7 which doesn't seem to agree with Survex. When I just install Survex it won't work at all. Julian fiddled around to specify paths and eventually got .svx files to process by double-clicking on them but this doesn't produce a .log file so I don't know the vital statistics for a successfully processed file and, much worse, if there's an error it doesn't give me any hints about what it is. I can run Survex using Command Prompts but I have to specify the full path to find the programme (so "ProgamFiles?\Survex\cavern.exe" witchesII.svx for example and again this doesn't save a log file. On the CUCC expo this summer the Expo machine running Linux was also not producing log files so perhaps this is a more general problem? |

#15 | fixed | Inconsistent nomenclature: process/run
Description |
The 'rerun' button on the log window in 1.1.14 is an inconsistency in nomenclature - in the documentation (for example, http://survex.com/docs/manual/getstart.htm), the action of using cavern to create a .3d file from a .svx file is referred to as 'processing'. Perhaps the button label should read 'reprocess'? BTW 1.1.14 isn't available in the Version field in Trac (nor is 'nitpick' available in the Type field, which I feel would best describe this ticket). |

#72 | fixed | Include LRUD in page size when printing
Description |
For large passages, the LRUD markers sometimes end up outside the printable area of the page. When LRUD markers toggled on, their location should be taken into consideration when centering the data and calculating the number of pages needed. This is particularly noticeable when printing profiles of tall canyon passage. |
