          map for spaces - just set width and height to 0 and skip to the
          width.
        * src/fnt.cc: Remove special case kludge for if space isn't defined,
          which is no longer needed thanks to the above fix.

          which stores survey dates as number of days since Jan 1st 1900, so
          we now support dates from 1900-2078 (rather than 1970-2037) with a
          smaller file size.  The img API is now versioned - you can select
          the new "version 1" by compiling with -DIMG_API_VERSION=1, which
          gives the survey dates in days in days1 and days2 instead of as
          time_t values in date1 and date2.  Fixes ticket#14.

        * src/gla-gl.cc: Add missing CHECK_GL_ERROR() calls and correct
          some which had the wrong descriptions.
          Use GL_POINT_SPRITE and GL_COORD_REPLACE instead of
          GL_POINT_SPRITE_ARB and GL_COORD_REPLACE_ARB.  They have the same
          numeric values, so the shorter (now official) names are better.

          src/quaternion.h: Just set the pan and tilt directly as OpenGL
          rotations rather than messing around setting up and then decoding a
          quaternion.  This fixes some glitches when tilting while looking
          east, and eliminates 2 source files and 2 headers!
