     3* (Microsoft Windows version): As of 1.4.18, running aven creates an extra empty window which seems to stay open until aven is closed.  Aven's main window opens in front of this useless window so it doesn't really get in the way but it shouldn't be there.  If you're familiar with development on this platform and think you may be able to help fix this, please get in touch!
