12

[5aa0d75]13
printdm - put standard scaling in print.ini for canon bj (prod Mark
14to get numbers)
[0e26b3a]15
[5aa0d75]16
If I pull the vertical border to left or right edge of window, I
17lose a pane and don't appear to be able to get it back. Perhaps "Restore
18panes" menu option if we can't allow the pane to be dragged open
19again...
[0e26b3a]20
[5aa0d75]21
Shift-ed keys should move faster (as they do in caverot)
22
23
Ctrl-Up/Down to tilt; Ctrl-Left/Right to rotate?
24
25
scale bar dragging is wrong - e.g. drag scalebar left then
26back to right - on drag right zoom is initially in the wrong direction!
27
28
This gives "*** Singular!!!" warning with DEBUG_INVALID on:
29

301 2 50000 0 -
311 2 5 0 -30
32

[0e26b3a]33
34
possible mysterious problem with [ and ] not zooming to screen centre
35
36
suppress warning box if wxWindows doesn't have translations in requested
37language (doesn't appear to be possible)
38
39
Accents in menus were working but suddenly stopped - I think this
40happened when I upgraded debian and a new libgtk package got
41installed... [from Mark: libgtk1.2 1.2.10-1 exhibits these symptoms]
[f17dbe2]42[from Olly: installing "locales" package fixes this for me...]

54
finish reverse controls
55
[0e26b3a]56
by default put crosses on those points with no legs attached (unused
57fixed points)?
58
59
label junctions/dead ends?
60
61
colour by traverse
62
63
section colouring/selective labelling
64
65
clipping - want to select a clip sphere (or maybe cube) centred on
66centre on rotation I think.
67
68
colour by cave (and more generally by sub-prefix):
69"aven --survey 161 --colour-by-sub-prefix all.3d" would result in
70lhroute, rhroute, adrian, etc all getting different colours...
71
72
check on monochrome displays - especially that depth colouring
73looks OK
74
75
Redraw time should feed back to step size (so small caves on
76fast puters look sane, and so autorotate keeps an even speed when
77little can be seen for part of each rotation)

107
108
flag legs as "skeletal" or something? (i.e. not in the cave passage) -
109e.g. a radiolocation leg from one passage to another isn't surface,
110but it isn't in the cave itself either (it's through rock). You could
111just call it surface but maybe later we want to use the surface
112flag to produce points for a surface triangulation...
113
114
?outlaw prefixes on stations in data legs (as Todd has lobbied for)
115and then the prefix of a leg == prefix of each end...?
116
117
comma separated dates in *date?
118
119
Allow "*exportall" or similar? Leandro's point about "maze caves" -
120just saying "don't use *export" is unhelpful if someone connects a
121cave with *export to one without...

153
154
Rather than forming a linked list of components, solve each as it is
