523          we now support dates from 1900-2078 (rather than 1970-2037) with a
524          smaller file size.  The img API is now versioned - you can select
525          the new "version 1" by compiling with -DIMG_API_VERSION=1, which
526          gives the survey dates in days in days1 and days2 instead of as
527          time_t values in date1 and date2.  Fixes ticket#14.
