    3 * (Microsoft Windows version): As of 1.4.18, running aven created an extra empty window which seems to stay open until aven is closed.  Aven's main window opens in front of this useless window so it doesn't really get in the way but it shouldn't be there.  We believe this is fixed in 1.4.21 - if you still see the extra window, please comment on #146.
