== General ==

 * Survex now uses a Unicode build of wxWidgets, which required major internal changes.  We think the kinks
   have now been shaken out, but please [/newticket report any issues you find].

 * 1.2.8 is meant to build with libav 9, but actually a [https://gitorious.org/survex/survex/commit/ec81f08647d7f89a42d1108056e9338e7c34941a.patch small additional patch] is needed.

== Microsoft Windows ==

 * Loading and saving of filenames with accented characters may not work in a few cases.
   Please report any you find.

 * Aven crashes when you 'Export' or 'Print' when running on XP (and possibly sometimes on other versions).
   This is hopefully fixed in 1.2.10 - otherwise, 1.2.7a has been reported to work.
